Ramen Recipe for the Microwave

The popular and delicious Japanese noodle soup ramen is simple to prepare in the microwave. The basic ramen in this recipe can be personalised with your own toppings.


1 package of ramen noodles.
water, 1 cup
1 packet of spice for ramen
(Optional) Your favourite toppings

In a bowl that can be heated in the microwave, disperse the ramen noodles.
To the bowl, include the water and ramen seasoning.
For 2-3 minutes on high in the microwave, or until the noodles are thoroughly cooked.
Noodles and seasoning are combined by stirring.
Add your preferred toppings, such as seaweed, cooked chicken, eggs, or vegetables.


You can add a tablespoon of soy sauce or miso paste to the water to give your ramen extra flavour.
To your ramen, you can also add vegetables like carrots, onions, or mushrooms. Simply zap them in the microwave for a few seconds and then mix them in with the noodles.
You can add a pinch of chilli powder or sriracha sauce to your ramen to make it hotter.


Use vegetable broth in place of water to make vegetarian ramen.
You can use vegan broth and vegan noodles to make vegan ramen.
You can add a tablespoon of milk or cream to the water to make the ramen creamier.

You may boil the noodles in a pot on the stovetop before putting them in the microwave for a more flavorful ramen.
